Hi everyone!

Thank you to everyone that attended the DOC NC meeting on Sunday. I got caught up in work, and forgot to send these out earlier!

• March Recap:

  • Raised: $2,007.90

    • Reached our goal!

  • The Pen Pal Project is going strong. We are now sending cards to nursing homes. Contact Diya and Simrika if you’re interested.

  • Antar Jyoti is currently still having weekly calls. Members have been able to practice speaking Hindi and made friends with the girls at the school! They plan on starting to teach them things like English in 2-3 weeks. Contact Somya if you’re interested!

  • During the leadership team panel, we answered members’ questions. This helpful for future team members, so we will plan to have it again!

  • Marketing Team Updates:

    • They are making more interactive posts/stories on instagram such as polls and questions

• Upcoming Events:

  • April

    • April 4th: Farm Field Trip

      • Penland Farm in Chapel Hill

      • Learning about livestock and its connection to sustainability

      • Sign up genius will be sent out to attend

      • Wear DOC NC shirts and mask!

      • Meet at 10:30 am outside the barn
