The Cyber Seniors Club’s aim is to educate senior citizens of the community about various topics about the technology they find useful in their everyday life. Every Saturday afternoon, a lecturer and a group of volunteers helps lead a class about a topic relating to technology. In the past, we have covered Google, Instagram, WhatsApp, Youtube, Facebook, Cybersecurity, etc. The first session started in April 2019 and ran through May 2019. The next session began in September 2019 and will run through October 2019.
Not only does this program help senior citizens gain useful knowledge about technology, but it also helps connect one generation of individuals to another through the means of education.
This program was started and is run by Armaan Punj. Contact Armaan Punj at punj.armaan@gmail.com or armaan@docnc.org if you’re interested in joining.
