DanceNC: Dance meets DOC NC

Pari Sidana and Sonia Birla organized online dance classes for anyone interested in learning about different styles of dance, starting the week of June 6th. These classes were 30 minutes to an hour each, via Google Meet. People of all ages, dance experiences, genders joined. DanceNC involved dance teachers across the Triangle in an effort to develop a sense of unity among the community to support the Black Lives Matter Movement.
All proceeds go towards supporting the North Carolina Black Alliance organization and the YMCA Lightener Y Achievers. DOC NC believes that it is our responsibility to support the Black Lives Matter movement and take initiative to end racial injustice.
