• There was a DOCTalk last week on Climate Change and the Paris Climate Accord. Sarayu and Diya led it and it went very well!

• Town of Morrisville Partnership Project:

  • Goal: Strive to bring all of Morrisville to a 70% recycling rate and reduce contaminants in recycling

• ADTH Essential Baskets

  • We are collecting essentials such as deodorant, soap, hand sanitizer, disinfectant, lotion.

  • The deadline for collecting items is February 20th. These donations should be dropped off in the designated boxes at one of the following addresses:

    • 305 Malvern Hill Lane, Morrisville NC

    • 717 Manassas Gap Place, Cary NC

• Pen Pal Project

  • Diya and Simrika are doing great! They have been calling nursing homes around the country. Though set-up is still in process, they have already paired two people!

• Indian Creek Playground Litter Sweep

  • The event will be on March 6th from 9:45am-12pm at 101 Town Hall Dr, Morrisville, NC 27560.

  • DOCNC is planning on adopting Indian Creek Playground in Morrisville!

  • We can have 25 members volunteering (taking all COVID precautions!)

  • Members have to be the age of 12 or older.

• We had a presentation from Dr. Angel Cruz about sustainable agriculture! It was engaging and she had a lot of great information to share with us!
