Hi Everyone,

Here are the meeting minutes from yesterday’s meeting for those of you that weren’t able to make it.

We have had a great year and accomplished so much! Big shout out to all the volunteers who have helped DOCNC achieve the goal of spreading sustainable thinking in local areas this year. Thank you to everyone who came to the meeting and to all those who weren’t able to attend, we missed you!

What is DOC NC?

• DOC NC, or Dedicated to our community of North Carolina, is a local non-profit that raises funds for a different organization each year. In the past, we have fundraised for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle, Duke PBMT, and the Suhanee Foundation. You can visit docnc.org to learn more!

  • Raised funds for 25 backpacks for a program lead by Triangle Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership organization.

  • Fun camps where members get the opportunity to work with local organizations and learn leadership skills.

  • Each year DOCNC chooses a new beneficiary to raise funds for. If you have any ideas, please fill out this google form!

• Spoke about the great programs from triangle volunteer & nonprofit organization such as backpacks4kids which donates over 800+ backpacks to students in need in Durham each year.
