April Recap
Officially donate 1000 dollars to each NC Green Power and Doorway to Hope
NCGP money was donated to reduce carbon emissions
Doorway to Hope money was used to make care baskets for those in need and support low-income families in the triangle.
May 1st: Penland Farm Field Trip
Pet cows, painted cows, saw the barn, chickens, pigs
Learned about sustainable farming and issues in the dairy industry
Got fresh ice cream and eggs
Pen Pal Project Update
Sent the first batch of cards to several nursing homes!
Created a feedback form!
They are now making cards for first responders so please email Diya and Simrika pictures of your cards!

Things are on a pause due to the COVID situation in India
Currently planning lessons for when the girls return to school with new curriculums!

Received 10,000 dollars from the State of NC to work on a recycling program in Morrisville.
