During the summer, 5 high schoolers of different grades and schools were chosen to be part of DOC NC’s internship. The goal of this internship is to reorganize the website to make it look better and make it more detailed. There are two types of internships: communication and marketing. Communications focuses on writing and some technical work. This includes creating and designing the newsletter, working and reorganizing the website, and maintaining organization. Marketing, on the other hand, focuses on the more visual side of things as they design posts to market DOC NC. This is a great way for DOC NC’s high school members to get involved with the functioning and leadership of DOC NC. DOC NC’s leadership leads the internship, and with the help of the other interns, they meticulously go through all the facts and information that they need to create the newsletters as well as reorganize the website. This internship is a great way for DOC NC to be more organized as well as a great learning experience for the interns!
