This year, DOC NC members are taking a field trip to Phillips Farm on September 19th.  Members will get to learn about farming and produce as well as sustainability. The owner of the farm will talk to members about the process of planting and growing the crops at the farm and show the cornfield, pumpkin patch, and sunflower field and explain the entire process and everything involved.
