Apex Earthfest 2026: Seeds of Change
On April 25th, 2026, we inspired more than 100 individuals to pledge their commitment to protecting the planet. In addition, we distributed over 60 mint and basil plants to community members, encouraging sustainable living and environmental awareness beyond the event itself. Thanks to Ms. Anne Robotti for sponsoring us with supplies for growing our plants!
Through the efforts of the environmental committee, we brought over 30 DOCNC members together to grow plants to be distributed and planned for this event for 4 months!
Youth Climate Summit
On November 11th, 2025, the DOCNC Environmental Committee organized DOCNC’s attendance to the Youth Climate Summit in Durham, NC. Through interactive workshops and collaborative discussions, we explored our part in environmental action. The summit inspired new ideas for us!
