Meeting Minutes for March 6th, 2022 w/ the Team
Hi! Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather brought to us by global warming. We had a great meeting today talking about the great work we did in February and what’s to come in the next few months. We also have a ton of new members which is awesome! We’re glad to have you.
What is DOC NC?
DOC NC, or Dedicated to our community of North Carolina, is a local non-profit that raises funds for a different organization each year. In the past, we have fundraised for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle, Duke PBMT, and the Suhanee Foundation. You can visit docnc.org to learn more!

Valentines Day Bake Sale
We raised over $1000! Awesome job to Arsh and Sania for leading this event.
ToM Townhall Meeting
Somya and Sarayu presented about all the great things DOCNC has been doing in tandem with the Town of Morrisville and proposed some event ideas for the future.
Upcoming Events:
Soles4Souls:
Shoe collection on March 13th during the litter sweep. Please bring in gently used shoes wrapped in rubber bands.
April 23rd: Collaboration w/ Town of Apex
Town of Apex would like DOCNC to collaborate with them in various events such as the Earth Festival on April 23rd.
Activities we’ve decided on for 4/23/2022 and leads: Creative Corner (Arya & Vera), Weaving Wall (Kavya & Anvita), and Presentation (Arsh & Pari)
Currently the projects are up and running!
April 6th: ToM Library Collaboration
Had a meeting with the library manager and we are hoping to hold some events there. We are working on the lesson plan for this event which will be on April 6th.
March 13th: Litter Sweep
On March 13th, we are hoping to go back to Indian Creek Playground and help clean up. The littersweep will be from 10am-12pm.
May 7th: In need of face painters and henna.
April 30th: Spring Daze
